Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kudovia Shopify application and related services. By installing or using Kudovia, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Kudovia helps Shopify merchants operate a referral and word-of-mouth program. Features may include referral tracking, customer referral links, referral points, merchant review of rewards, discount-code creation, post-purchase sharing tools, and referral-program emails.

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Configuring Kudovia and reviewing your referral and reward settings.
• Ensuring that your referral program, rewards, discounts, customer communications, and use of the service comply with applicable laws and Shopify requirements.
• Providing accurate store and contact information.
• Maintaining the security of your Shopify account and any connected third-party services.
• Reviewing referral activity and reward approvals when manual review is selected.

You may not use Kudovia for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes, or in a way that interferes with the service or the rights of others.

Fees and billing

Kudovia is offered with a 30-day free trial, followed by a subscription fee of $15 per month unless otherwise shown in Shopify at the time of subscription.

Charges are billed through Shopify and are subject to Shopify’s billing terms and processes. You may cancel by uninstalling Kudovia or otherwise ending the subscription through Shopify. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law or Shopify’s applicable policies.

Included app-sent emails

The subscription includes up to 1,000 Kudovia app-sent referral-program emails per month. If the monthly allowance is reached, referral tracking and reward processing may continue, but Kudovia app-sent emails may pause until the next monthly period.

Merchants may be able to connect a supported external email provider. Use of an external provider is also subject to that provider’s terms, limits, and fees.

Third-party services

Kudovia depends on Shopify and may integrate with other services selected by you. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their acts or omissions. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Kudovia will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages, platform changes, or events outside our reasonable control may affect the service.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Kudovia at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable charges, create a security or legal risk, misuse the service, or if continued operation is no longer reasonably practicable.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kudovia is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Kudovia does not guarantee any particular level of referrals, sales, revenue, customer participation, or business results.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kudovia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kudovia’s total liability for claims arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Kudovia during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the effective date. Changes become effective when posted, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
